Ugh…it’s the beginning of pollen season. That means sneezing and watery eyes for many. If you are lucky enough not to suffer from allergies, you should still pay attention to the pollen.
Why? Pollen can take a toll on your vehicle, inside and out. If your car is making you sneeze, it might be time to give it a bath! Here are a few tips for combating pollen this spring.
1. Don’t brush it off
You might notice a fine layer of pollen accumulate on your car and be tempted to brush it off with your hand or a towel. Don’t. The small pollen grains could scratch your car.
2. Don’t forget the interior
Pollen is so fine it can accumulate anywhere. Keep your air filters clean and vacuum regularly (we can do both!)
3. Wash regularly
Make sure you wash the vehicle at a professional wash and add an extra layer or polish to help with future build up.
